William Ross Young

             William Young was a Gordon Highlander who was transferred to the Royal Army Service Corps
                               in October 1941, winding up in the Far East Theatre operations and captured,
                                         forced to remain a POW during the duration of the war.......

           William told his story to John Duff, who interviewed him and the result was their book,
                                            "A Gordon Highlander if Ever I Saw One".
